In-Clinic Infusion Appointments

A clinic visit runs in a set order. You arrive, you fill out an intake, someone reviews it with you and takes vital signs, and a provider decides whether to proceed. If they do, a line is placed and you sit while it runs. Someone should be checking on you during that time rather than leaving you alone with a call button, and someone should be looking at the site when the line comes out.

What we can help with is finding a clinic that offers the appointment you want, in an area you can get to, at a time that works. What we cannot do is evaluate a clinic's staffing, supervision or supply chain on your behalf, because a referral line has no way to verify any of that. What this usually involves

• Referral only — IV 801 provides no medical care and performs no procedures
• Ask who places the line and what license that person holds
• Ask who supervises, and whether they are on site or reachable by phone
• Ask what the intake covers and how long it takes
• Expect to be screened, and expect that a provider may decline
